Velvety smooth, this is made by a unique winemaking method, resulting in a rich, full-bodied wine that’s full of flavour. The Ripasso (Italian for re-pass) method uses leftover grape skins from Amarone wine production in the winemaking process. By ‘re-passing’ the grape skins, the wine is enriched with extra colour, tannin, and flavour. Expect flavours of red plum, raspberry, and black cherry, alongside a simmering spice. Try it with anything from duck to ragu.
