Thick enough to seat the brass stud triangles, the two side lions, and the front D ring without flexing. Stiff enough to hold its shape on a 70 pound dog. The natural surface is left intact, so what you see is real grain, not pressed pattern on bonded scrap. Part B Triangle Stud Clusters Solid brass studs set in three rivet clusters arranged in triangles across the length of the strap. Not single straight rows like every other studded collar. The triangle layout gives the Warlord a tighter, more pattern driven look than a sparse line of metal across one row. Each rivet is set through the full leather by hand and clinched flat on the back. Part C Brass Buckle Solid brass roller buckle, solid all the way through. Not plated zinc with a brass color coating that wears off in the first year. The pin slides smooth on the same brass frame for as long as the collar lasts, and the brass only deepens into a warmer patina the longer your dog wears it. Part D Front Brass D Ring The D ring sits at the front of the strap, set into a folded leather loop so it swings freely left and right with your dog. When the dog turns, the ring follows the leash instead of twisting the whole collar sideways.
